Algarve: Ecovia da Vila Real a Capo do Sao Vicente

Starting from Vila Real de San Antonio, a historic town on the banks of the Guadiana River at the border with Spain, you cycle westward through Tavira and many small fishing villages and ports along the coast, until you reach Olhao, a town with a Moorish look and low white houses, inhabited by fishermen. From here, you head inland and towards the Faro region, before reaching the renowned seaside resorts of Albufeira and Portimão, where it is recommended to stop for a swim and some sun on the wonderful beaches protected by cliffs. The final part of the tour then leads to Cape São Vicente, the southernmost point of the European continent.
