The route leads through the Rodach Valley to near Zeyern. There, it turns right into Zeyerngrund. The path runs on well-maintained roads up to Geuser. After Geuser, you ride about 100 m on the local connection towards Wartenfels until you turn right again onto a field path. The path is well built and easy to ride. It leads up to Oberehesberg. In the village center, you turn right and head towards Radspitze. The first turn left takes us onto a gravel forest road, allowing for a fast descent to the Rugendorfer quarry. We cross the B 303 and ride on a local connection road up to the height above Eisenwind. At the height of the first Windrate, a field path leads towards Horlachen, where we reach the road towards Fischbach or Gössersdorf.
