In Waldshut wird gestartet, wo städtisches Flair mit landschaftlicher Idylle verbunden wird. Der Radweg verläuft weiter meist eben am Rhein entlang bis nach Bad Säckingen. Ein Blick von Europas längster gedeckter Holzbrücke sowie das Fridolinsmünster sind einen Besuch wert. Bei Rheinfelden ist das „Augusta Raurica“ interessant.
