Die Etappe beginnt in Waldshut, geht über Bad Säckingen und endet in Rheinfelden.

In Waldshut wird gestartet, wo städtisches Flair mit landschaftlicher Idylle verbunden wird. Der Radweg verläuft weiter meist eben am Rhein entlang bis nach Bad Säckingen. Ein Blick von Europas längster gedeckter Holzbrücke sowie das Fridolinsmünster sind einen Besuch wert. Bei Rheinfelden ist das „Augusta Raurica“ interessant. Die älteste römische Siedlung der Schweiz beeindruckt mit ihren Tempeln, Bäder, dem Theater und der Arena.
