From Eitorf via the L86 from Mühleip, the gradient increases and just before 'Vierwinden' you start to sweat well. Then along the B8 (flat to rolling) westwards to Uckerath. There turn right to Süchterscheid and descend into the Sieg valley at Bach.

Cross the Sieg and take the last notable climb up to Merten. Via Lützgenauel and Bouraulel you return to Eitorf.
