Day 1 Fischen - Stuben

From Fischen (771m), you ride through the Rappenalp valley to Biberalpe (1500m). A steep, narrow trail, which can sometimes only be traversed carrying the bike on your shoulder, then leads up to Schrofen Pass (1688m) and across the border into Austria. Trail descent to Lechleiten. Lunch break at the mountain inn Holzerhaus. Then continue through the Lech valley to Lech and up to Spullersee (1827m) before descending on a trail path into the Klostertal valley (1100m). Finally, climb again up to Stuben am Arlberg to the stage finish (1440m).
