Sonntagsrunde

The first part of the tour goes along lightly trafficked, paved agricultural roads through the Düsterdieker Niederung, a large and flat nature and bird sanctuary. Very pleasant to ride. The second part then follows the riverbank path along the Mittelland Canal up to the branch of the Stichkanal. The riverbank paths along the Mittelland and Stichkanal are surfaced gravel roads (unsuitable for racing bikes). Here you go over the bridge to the other side of the canal and take a left loop onto the bank path of the Stichkanal. Shortly before Hollage, switch sides again and continue along the bank to Hollager Str. (yacht harbor). The last bridge that is still shown on the map no longer exists. Now return to Halen to the starting point.
