We took the ferry from Istanbul to Yalova, then headed out of town staying west of the main road through little villages, then crossed over the main road at Guneyköy, and winded our way down to the lake. We followed the lake road the whole way, wild camping along the way. Finally we headed out of Orhangazı up the hill to Hamzalı before rejoining our original route back to Yalova.
