Diese Fahrradtour führt zum Teil durch die Stadt Kiel, durch Parks, an der Hafenpromade "Kiellinie" entlang, vorbei am Kieler Yacht Club, bis zu der kleinsten Fähre Deutschlands, die Fahrradfahrer über den Nord-Ostsee-Kanal bringt. Von dort aus geht weiter an den Schleusen des Kanals vorbei zum Thiesenkai. Dort liegen teilweise alte Traditionssegler, es gibt dort ein Cafe, die Firma Ocean Well (stellt die Naturkosmetik des Birke Spa her), einen schönen historischen Leuchtturm, die Algenfarm kann von hier aus gesehen werden. Nach einer Pause geht es von Thiesenkai aus zurück zum Hotel. Entlang der Straßen, zum Teil durch Alleen an Gutshöfen vorbei, über die histroische Brücke des Nord-Ostsee-Kanals durch ein Wohngebiet und Waldstück zurück zum Hotel.
