COPA XC CABLE CARRIL 2014 / Chilecito, La Rioja

INFORMATION CIRCUIT 2. XC CABLE CARRIL: Length: 6.20 km. Travel time: between 20 and 35 minutes depending on the level of the rider. Description: It has three clearly differentiated parts, the first section is a moderately uphill trail, the garden rock, a bridge, sections with sand and pomace (waste from the vine) and a small jump are the attractions of this part. The second part is the soul of the circuit, it requires a combination of power, air, and concentration; it is a seesaw over the hills, with 3 tough climbs and another 3 significant descents, ending in a very technical trail that does not forgive mistakes. The last part welcomes you with the jump, after which you enter a softer ground zone, with many U-shaped canyons that do not let you relax at any moment. Another interesting aspect is that it has more than 10 double variants, where the rider will look for the alternative that suits him best. Presentation: there will be a total fencing with marking of variants and dangerous sectors, as well as a large number of controls, so that the riders do not have orientation problems during the race.
