About This Route

Strecke 87 km und 1630 Höhenmeter (gemessen mit Edge 305); ab St. Arcons auf gleicher Strecke zurück nach Langeac

ganz nett, aber über weite Strecken ist man leider doch nicht am Allier, das Tal ist streckenweise so eng, daß keine Straße mehr 'reingepaßt hat. Immerhin gibt es auch noch eine Bahnlinie (Clermont Ferrand - Nimes) die dort vekehrt. Leider passten die Fahrtzeiten nicht zu unserem Tourplan, denn ansonsten ist Rad & Bahn eine hervorragend Kombination. Optimal dazu: die Rhätische Bahn in der Schweiz).

Besonders schöne Abschnitte sind St. Arcons - Prades und St. Privat d'Allier - Le Pont d'Alleyras.
