About this route
Heute führt uns die Tour durch die Maremma ans Meer und das wird nochmals ein landschaftlicher Höhepunkt. Von Manciano aus lassen wir die Räder lange bergab rollen und gelangen dann auf ruhiger Strecke nach Capalbio. Dort Stopp und falls Interesse werfen wir einen Blick in den Künstlergarten Giardino dei Tarrocchi. Weiter geht es flach, ruhig und wunderschön ans Meer. Der landschaftliche Höhepunkt ist der Brackwassersee Lago di Burano mit seinem Naturschutzzentrum. Auch hier schauen wir kurz vorbei. Am Ende führt uns der einzige Radweg der ganzen Tour in das von zwei Lagunen begrenzten Städtchen Orbetello, das vor der imposanten Kulisse des Monte Argentario liegt.
