First off: The route should be ridden in reverse; it makes it much more enjoyable and less strenuous.

Otherwise, it was a very nice tour. From the terminus (Bringhausen) up to the high-storage reservoir, it was all uphill. But you pass by beautiful spots, and the route was very sparsely visited, with only two people. The Urwaldsteig lives up to its name! Narrow paths and fallen trees.

Arriving at the high-storage reservoir at the top, the effort was worth it just for the view.

The tour is not suitable for regular bikes! Mountain bikes only!!! Sometimes it went right across fields.

Have fun on the descent.
