SAP ROT - MA Entspannungsroute

There are several kilometers from St. Leon-Rot to Mannheim — so there are correspondingly many routes. Here is another one that I highly recommend if time is not too pressing.

Up to Mannheim Rohrhof, you have to ride about 300 meters on road or cross two streets. Otherwise, you mostly ride on asphalted forest and field paths. Some of these paths are gravel, but with not too rainy weather, they can be ridden well on a road bike.

It starts at SAP in Rot-Malsch, passing the golf course towards Reilingen via field paths. Then through the forest past the Hockenheimring, through fields and woods near Ketsch to Brühl. From there, you enter the Rhine meadows to Mannheim-Rohrhof, where unfortunately you must switch to the road. However, these roads are still quite rideable. Past the power plant, you go through the allotment gardens and finally on well-ridable cycle paths toward Almenhof or Lindenhof. From there, you can continue relatively well towards the city center, considering Mannheim conditions.
