Day 8th of July (Tuesday) Leave Oña on the N232 road towards Santander. There are tunnels and it is advisable to wear vests or something fluorescent. You can turn right to avoid the last tunnel. You need to climb a couple of kilometers, although it is gentle. While descending, ignore the exit to Trespaderne on the N629 and follow the N232 signposted as Valdenoceda, until Cereceda. Upon entering the village on the left, there is a sculpture park by Carlos Armiño, a local artist. In the village, take a regional road on the right, signposted as Panizares. You need to climb, and just before the entrance of a painted tunnel, there is a siphon a few meters below the road. This is signposted as Fuente Oro Maria. Exiting the tunnel, to the right is the Cereceda reservoir, which is very beautiful. Follow the road through various villages until you reach Puente Arenas where you can eat and swim in the Ebro river. Then you need to return to the entrance of the village and cross the bridge towards Valdenoceda. Get back onto the N232 again. After the village of Valdenoceda, before the bridge that crosses the Ebro, everyone needs to gather and leave together because it is a VERY dangerous stretch until Incinillas. You need to ride in double file and be very careful on the narrow curves. Continue on the national road to Villarcayo; the campsite is on the other side of the village towards Bilbao.
