Route along the Calabrian coastline. Undoubtedly beautiful with great variety of coasts. Few elevation changes. From this basic route, given time and desire, other routes can obviously branch out into the hilly and mountainous hinterland. The Costiera Chain and then the Pollino, Sila, and Aspromonte. These mountains, which do not exceed 2000 m (only Pollino is at 2300 m), offer climbs of 15 - 25 km with average elevation changes of 7-8%. If desired, one can traverse Calabria in a coast to coast style.
