Z Prahy na Kokořín a zpět

Prague Černý most -> Kokořín -> Prague Černý most

Descent from Černý most down to the river. Flat terrain along the Elbe cycle path (dirt road / gravel) up to Mělník (slight climb into the town).

From Mělník there is a beautiful view of Říp and it is worth visiting the town as well.

Then winding through the town and climbing via Chloumek to Lhotka. From Lhotka flat through a nice environment (Máchova trail) up to Kokořín.

On the way back it is not necessary to go via Chloumek and the hill can be bypassed via Lhotka and Hostín. In Lhotka a visit to the rock house is possible.

From Kostelec nad Labem an unpleasant gradual climb from the river back to Černý most.

Distance-wise it is a more demanding route, count on something close to 120 km. The elevation gain is fairly gentle, the route is rather flat.
