After a first quiet and silent stretch along the banks of the Po, the first strong emotion of the day is the crossing of the bridge of Arena Po, endless and very busy. Then we enter a maze of country roads that allow descending southeast, avoiding the Via Emilia and the main highways, which we only cross at the bridges over the Trebbia, Tidone, and Nure. The most interesting element of the stage is the numerous castles, unfortunately not visitable.
