If someone is looking for a route from Jílové and the surrounding area, I recommend this trail. Ideal for mountain bikes, minimal road use, with the possibility to join the trail at several places (Psáry, Libeř, Davle, Oleško...). But that means you will miss the beautiful descent along the Záhořanský stream. Another well-known descent is from Točná to Modřany. I think this route is manageable with regular fitness. The only daunting part is the hill from Davle to Oleško... otherwise, it’s maximum comfort. :). I would like to point out that this is a path for mountain bikes. On a trekking bike, you won’t enjoy this trail much, and it’s not suitable for road bikes at all.
