Unfortunately, there's confusion. In Biberwier, do not follow the first sign for cyclists (to the right), otherwise you'll end up on a mountain biking trail. There it's also required to carry your bike. There’s a lot of traffic on weekends (Sundays) as well. Return via the road down from the Fernpass. There are much nicer routes down in the valley. There is also bike transport over the pass. You can complete the entire route, but it's not necessary.
