Flums - Maschgenkamm - Flums

The approach with about 1600 meters of elevation gain is demanding. The last meters into the Maschgenkamm are very steep. Good energy management is advantageous. However, the view rewards you greatly. At Maschgenkamm, you descend from the 'back'. Very few hikers. You go over meadows and forest paths into the first challenging trail (should be dry because the trail consists of stones). Then a stretch of gravel to recover. The last 600 meters of elevation are tackled on a flowing trail that is very smooth to ride.
