Deel 03 Ldam - Wenen: Route van Mamedy naar Mainz 20150406

A few kilometers after Mamedy, the route passes through a less interesting section through the town of Andernach and partly alongside the L-216 road. But then we ride again along the Rhine and eventually arrive at the Deutsche Eck in Koblenz, and then continue on a decent bike path to Boppard. From Boppard onwards, there is a very good bike path, partly along the B9, but also sections right along the 'Romantic Rhine' with well-known towns like Bacharach and Sankt Goar. After Trechtinghausen, the last part runs along the beautiful section of the Rhine, then a short stretch through Bingen, where we take the ferry to Rüdesheim and continue the ride on the other side of the Rhine. With that, we have reached the federal state of Hesse and proceed via Wiesbaden to Mainz.
