Schokland-dijk route

Via this route, you cycle to the former island of Schokland. Here you can visit the Schokland museum. There is also the option to have a cup of coffee or a meal in the restaurant. From the museum, follow the route to Schokkerhaven. There is also a restaurant here and the possibility for a refreshing swim. The Schokkerstrand is a sandy beach where it is delightful to relax. From here, follow the route along the dike with a magnificent view over the IJsselmeer to Zwolsche Hoek. There is also a beach here. Then you cycle under the Ketelbrug bridge to Urk. This place is definitely worth visiting and has several fish restaurants. From Urk, continue the route to Emmeloord where you can still enjoy a nice cup of coffee or something to eat at restaurant 't Voorhuys.
