About this route
From Au to Troisdorf along the Sieg. Traveling with DB, then along the Sieg cycle path, which is well asphalted in parts, a few km on roads directly next to the street. Two climbs, at Schladern/Stein and Bourauel, here steep and pushing the bike is necessary due to rocky ground. From Hennef a dusty road and no shade until St. Augustin. From the Sieg ferry to the mouth a narrow trail. Sieg ferry 0.75 C to the restaurant opposite. Then back to Troisdorf and homeward with the DB.
