Der Weg führt über alte Bergmannspfade von Bildstock nach Hasborn- vom 1891/92 errichteten Rechtsschutzsaal zum Heimatort von dessen Begründer, dem legendären Nikolaus Warken (genannt Eckstein). Man bekommt hier eine Ahnung davon, welche Strapazen die Bergleute früher auf sich nahmen, wenn sie bei Wind und Wetter zwischen den Gruben des Saarkohlewalds und ihren Familien in den Heimatorten hin und her wandern mussten.
