Ocolul Ciucaşului, ediţia a II-a

Cheia - Mogoş - Valea Stânii - Pasul Boncuţa - Heroes' Cemetery of Tabla Buţii - Pasul Boncuţa - Urlătoarea Waterfall - Vama Buzăului - Dălghiu - Poiana Dălghiului - Şaua Teslei - Poiana Teslei - Babarunca Cabin - Pasul Bratocei - Cheia.

From Pasul Boncuţa you can choose whether to visit the Heroes' Cemetery of Tabla Buţii or continue your route towards Vama Buzăului. After Poiana Dălghiului, we continue uphill towards Poiana Teslei until its end, where there is a Forestry Office house. From here follows a section where the bike has to be pushed through the forest, and the trail is just to the left of the house; if you pay attention, you will discover a red triangle mark on the trees (this mark is not on the map). Up on the ridge, you'll encounter tourist trail markings coming from Poiana Teslei; this time we took a left (southeast) towards Şaua Teslei, and from there further down we reached the forest road towards Babarunca on DN1A. From Babarunca we climb 7 kilometers to Pasul Bratocei and finally enjoy a beautiful descent ending in Cheia. I rode the route for the first time in June 2009 with George and Ciprian, and the second time on a splendid late September 2014 with Tibi, Cosmin, Mircea, and Marina. It is one of the most picturesque and cleanest routes I've ridden.
