The Deister tour starts at Wennigsen and was 38 km long with about 1200 meters of elevation gain. During the ride, six climbs were completed, most of them moderate at about 5-8%, with only short ramps up to a maximum of 15% on gravel paths, very manageable. The descents were somewhat more challenging as all downhill freerider sections were incorporated, featuring ramps, drops, and steep descents present locally. The route is rather not suitable for beginners.
