About This Route

Gestartete wird bei 400Hm in Burkhardtsdorf. Ganz entspannt geht es dann über Auerbach nach Geyer und von da aus weiter das zachopautal hinauf nach Crottendorf. Dort geh es in den Wald hinein, den man auch erst wieder am dem Fichtelberg (1214Hm) verlässt. Hier wechselt der Beleg zwischen Teer und festgefahrenen Splitt, ist aber trotzdem noch gut mit Rennrad machbar. Vom Fichtelberg aus geht es weiter auf dem Erzgebirgskamm zum Plattenberg (1040Hm) und weiter bis nach Johanngeorgenstadt. Vo da aus rollt man das tal hinab nach Schwarzenberg. Hier kommt der letzte der 3 großen Anstiege nach Beierfeld. Über Grünhain kommt man nach Zwönitz wo man einfach das tal nach Burkhardtsdorf zurück fährt. Auch wenn die Strecke mit ihren 124km nicht sehr lang ist, so hat es sie in sich. Mit geschlagenen 2063Hm ist sie nur für sehr ausdauernde Fahrer geeignet.
