Alpbachtal und Kühzagl von Tegernsee

Wonderful tour with two challenging climbs! From our starting point at Prinzenweg in Tegernsee, we get right to it: first flat, then getting steeper as we go through the Alpbachtal valley upwards to the open slopes of Kreuzbergalm. Just before reaching it, we turn right onto a path towards Hennerer / Schliersee. Here, we might need to push the bike briefly before we get back on a wide gravel road that we follow downhill. We reach Hennerer, continue on the (asphalt) road to Schliersee. Here we go around the lake on the west side (turn into Westerbergstraße in Schliersee) and reach Fischhausen-Neuhaus. Along Fischhauser Straße, we reach the Fischhausen - Neuhaus train station, pass under the railway line, and then immediately turn right up Bodenschneidstraße. At the junction with Dürnbachstraße, we now go right uphill towards Bodenschneidhaus. We follow the signs towards Kühzagl and Rottach Egern. From Kühzagl-Alm onwards, the biggest difficulties are overcome, and we roll down from Kühzagl to Rottach Egern and finally along Tegernsee back to our starting point.
