On the way there, the route runs more or less on bike paths (at least after Léka). The section from the border to the ski lift is incredibly beautiful. Naturally, there are also plenty of cultural sights, castles, and Gothic churches everywhere. The landscape is gorgeous. The climb from Aspang is 9-10 km long, but practically all the way it has a hard shoulder separated by markings. Next to the ski resort there is a paved but gated (detour possible) road. Climbing on this road is strongly dependent on physical fitness; I managed to reach about the marked section, pushing a bit at the end. It is likely possible to reach the summit. On the way back, there are also castles and churches, if you still feel like it. Excellent for training rides and tours.
