Deel 02 Ldam - Wenen: Route van Venlo naar Mamedy 20150406

After crossing the Dutch/German border, one enters the German part of the nature reserve called "Krickenbecker". After passing the first German town of Hinsbeck and then Viersen / Mönchengladbach to the north, we head towards the banks of the Rhine at the height of Neuss/Düsseldorf. Before that, one had to ride through a largely industrial area, but later through a succession of beautiful parks. Via the Rhein-Radweg towards Cologne and there along the Rheinboulevard southward. Along the remains of the old railway bridge and the museum of Remagen and through the tourist town of Bad Breisig to Mamedy.
