From Casa Carotondo drive to Cacamo, at the T junction turn right and drive a few hundred meters. You will then see a sign pointing left to Serrapetrona.
I parked at Borgiano which has a car park at the start of the village. This does however involve a few extra kilometers and extra height gain. Otherwise you could park at the cemetry of Borgianello. Parking here means that you avoid the uphill to Serrapetrona at the end of the ride.
En route to Serrapetrona you will see some wine producers who sell direct to the public - perhaps best to visit them at the end of your ride. When you reach Serrapetrona either visit the historical centre or to continue the ride head in the direction of Camerino. You will pick up this road when you leave Serrapetrona. This road does a switchback shortly after Serrapetrona, stay on it and don't take the smaller less maintained road that goes straight on.
The worst of the uphill is between Serrapetrona and the turning where the road starts to head south. This is in a steep valley and if you do it early in the morning will probably be in shade. The turning to Letegge is signposted. After this town the road deteriorates to gravel, at times lumpy so not suitable for very thin wheels.
Some of the scenery is steep forested slopes but there are also some spectacular views on this route as well as points of cultural interest in Serarapetrona, CSV, VD'A and Letegge. At Statte there is also an unfortunate renovation of the ruins of a C12th. castle.
