About This Route

Visit Grønsvik Kystfort and enjoy the view here or from Kleivhalsen viewpoint. In Aldersundet you have open grocery store, souvenir shop and accommodation. On the way to Tonnes you pass several shops. In Tonnes you can also stay and eat good food at OscarBrygga. From Tonnes goes the express boat out to Selsøyvik (not marked on the map) and on the way you cross the Arctic Circle. Visit Selsøyvik Tradingpost that is from 1777 and is Rødøy municipality milenniumsite. Here it is both cafe and accommodation.

Tonnesgrotten Et landemerke i Tonnes i Lurøy kommune i Nordland. Det er en 180 meter lang grotte i fjellet, laget av århundrer med istid. Den spektakulære grotten er et turistmål og landemerke. Lokalt blir den ofte kalt Hellerhulen (Hellarholet, Tonneshølæ). Underlaget er dekket med rød sand.
