Rund um die grüne Hölle (MTB Strecke mit zwei kleinen Abstechern)

The MTB route passes a large part along the Nürburgring (Green Hell). Due to the activities on the ring, motorsport fans have entertainment throughout the tour. Those who prefer peace and quiet are certainly not in the right place here ;-)

We start from the parking lot at the L10 parallel to the ring from the Bergwerk section towards Hohe Acht. (After the climb you should be warm...) We remain on the MTB route until the Meuspath industrial area. There we briefly leave the MTB route and ride to the offroad park, then immediately turn back into the field. At the K20 we meet the MTB route again. After crossing the B258 (bridge), we make a detour around Nürburg and come back to the MTB route in Nürburg. Turn left onto the B257 (under the ring). (about 100m to 200m then right again onto asphalted path / somewhat poorly signposted). Behind Schwedenkreuz / Aremberg, cross the ring again (bridge), or shortcut straight ahead past the scenic Adenauer Forst section (about 2-3km shorter, but always something to see here).

Those riding inside the ring turn left after the bridge. Then it goes down a good stretch. Watch out, the MTB route eventually goes up to the left again. Those who "fly" too far have to turn back ;-) (About 1.7km from the bridge/turn, then sharp left up the hill.)

From there continue to the starting point.
