Žatec-Kadaň

A very easy-going route to Kadaň.

Apart from the serpentine on the hill at Libočany, it is almost flat. Slight climbing only rarely, hardly worth mentioning. Then climbing is only near the finish.

The beautiful view from the Nechranice reservoir makes it worth cycling over it. The route is longer compared to the direct way to Kadaň but you avoid Rokly and its hill. Mainly low traffic, the road is in very good condition 98% of the way.

Kadaň is worth a visit. See the town walls, the restaurant Tercier, the square with the fountain and the distinctive town hall. On the square, you can also buy something for your steed, and in the sports shop, something for yourself. Mainly from Craft. The Capuchin monastery is another attraction. Even the small red Christian church is very nice. For aquarists and other enthusiasts, I recommend from experience the pet shop Archa. It is 30m from the square.

Simply come, ride through, see. From Kadaň, you can continue after a break, for example to Perštejn. Recommended.
