Schneeberg-Runde

For all the good railway cyclists: starting point Baden train station. From the station towards Helenental to Weinbergstrasse. On this road to Bad Voeslau. Continue to Grossau, over the Grossauer Hoehe to Pottenstein. Crossing the Tristingtal federal road, continue towards Hals. Descent to Pernitz. Further to Gutenstein and towards Rohrer Sattel, shortly after the village, turn onto the road to Klostertaler Gscheid. Descent into Hoellental. This flows downstream towards Hirschwang. Through Reichenau to Payerbach. At the edge of the village, following the bike path sign on the old road to Schlögelmühl. Before the village, turn left under the railway towards Prigglitz. Ascent to Priglitz, at the height through the village and after about 1 km of descent, do not miss the left turnoff (in Gasteil) towards Bürg and Sieding!. In Sieding, you reach Puchberger Straße through the Sierning valley. After Puchberg in the direction of Ascher. Descent from Ascher into the Piestingtal. From Reichental either on the Piestingtal federal road (fast) or on the Piestingtal bike path (slow) until Waldegg. Here continue on the old road to Markt Piesting. Turn left in the direction of Herrenstein. At the peak of the slope, turn right towards Aigen - Lindabrunn. Descent to Lindabrunn. Continue to Enzersfeld, where before the railway you turn right towards Leobersdorf. At the roundabout, right towards Leobersdorf and continue towards Kotingbrunn. In Kottingbrunn, you reach the bike path on the Wr.Neustaedter Kanal which you follow until Tribuswinkel. After the canal bridge over the Schwechat, turn left onto Waltersdorferstrasse to return to the station.
