Nach der Unterquerung der N361 Lauwersseewej fahren wir links Richtung Paesens am Inlandsdeich entlang. In Paesens lohnt der Blick über den Deich auf das Wattenmeer bzw, Schiermonnikoog. Weiter geht es durch das Dorf. Wer zum ersten Mal hier ist sollte bis zum Fischereimuseum fahren. Neben dem Museum lohnt auch hier der Blick über den Deich aufs Watt, Schiermonnikoog und Ameland. Zurück zur Dorfgrenze Paesens Moddergat geht es am Gasthaus rein und an einem kleinen Kanal entlang bis zum nächsten Knotenpunkt.
