Deel 09 Ldam - Wenen: Route van Grein naar Wenen (Bikemap)

From Grein we follow the right bank until we pass Donaudorf. At Persenbeug we switch to the left bank and at Melk we return to the right bank. A visit to the Benediktiner abbey there (the largest in Austria) is a must. After Krems, there is a long stretch without any village or town. The first little place is Zwentendorf and then the city of Tulln, known from the mention in the Nibelungen. Klosterneuburg is the last city before Vienna. After that, the outlines of the city of Vienna quickly loom on the banks of the Danube and become clearer and clearer: our final destination!
