An itinerary that will take you from the mountains to the lake, from the villages to the Serio river.

Day 1 SELVINO – LOVERE 63 km

Starting from Selvino (960 m above sea level), a lively mountain tourist destination characterized by a welcoming atmosphere, you will reach Clusone (347 m above sea level), a center rich in history and culture where you can see the ancient Planetary Clock, then finish your route in Lovere (208 m above sea level), relaxing with a dinner or a walk by the lake.

Day 2 LOVERE – SCHILPARIO 44 km

The second day awaits you with a long climb from the lake towards Schilpario (1124 m above sea level), located in Val di Scalve. Schilpario is a characteristic village nestled in the setting of the Bergamasque Orobie mountains. Here you have the opportunity to visit the old mill (near the ethnographic museum) or, for the more adventurous, to explore the mining paths.

Day 3 SCHILPARIO – ROVETTA – VALBONDIONE 55 km

From Schilpario you descend to Rovetta (650 m above sea level) and then climb again to reach Valbondione (900 m above sea level), which has always been a popular destination thanks to its prominent location within the Parco delle Orobie. If you're lucky and happen to visit on one of the 5 annual opening days, just an hour's walk from the village you can admire the Serio river waterfalls, which with their triple leap are the highest in Italy and the second highest in Europe.

Day 4 VALBONDIONE – BERGAMO 49 km

On the last day, you can rest your legs by descending about 50 km along the bike path that follows the Serio river, until you reach Bergamo (290 m above sea level), the provincial capital. Bergamo is especially famous for the Città Alta. From the old walls, you can enjoy a wonderful panorama of the lower city, the nearby territories, and mountains in the distance.

For those who want to take advantage of Bergamo's proximity to Orio al Serio airport, we offer this interesting all-inclusive package. The participation fee includes both mountain bike rental and transfer to and from the airport, allowing you to enjoy your vacation without any worries.
