Die Strecke führt rund um das Kyffhäusergebirge, besondere Punkte der Strecke sind die Barbarossahöhle, das Bauernkriegspanorama in Bad Frankenhausen und die Kaiserpfalz in Tilleda. Auch die Innenstadt von Bad Frankenhausen ist sehenswert.

Die Strecke selbst lässt sich auch von ungeübten gut befahren, jedoch ist die Qualität nicht immer die beste...

Es empfiehlt sich auch eine Karte der Gegend dabei zu haben, da die Beschilderung nicht immer gut ist, und mit der Karte hier die Streck auch nicht exakt nachvollzogen werden konnte.
