Relaxed ride through gently hilly terrain. The path surface includes everything: asphalt, gravel, sand, and firm forest trails. In some parts, you have to share the road with cars, from Köthel to Borstorf and Wolterdorf to Mühlenrade, but otherwise these are paths exclusively for cyclists. Lovely. The signage in the Duchy of Lauenburg is exemplary, so you can completely forget about maps or bike GPS devices. Weekend refreshment stops are available everywhere along the route.
