Rund um den Wannsee via Seeburg (kurz)

<p> <strong>Tips:</strong></p> <p> <em>Königstr.</em>: It's best to avoid both the bike path and contact with angry Potsdam drivers on the way home; if you turn immediately after the traffic light changes and accelerate properly (35+ km/h), you can cover the few meters before the next wave of cars arrives.</p> <p> <em>Neuer Garten</em>: There is now a decent gravel bike path here. However, it is also used by others (both pedestrians and cyclists), so: ride cautiously!</p> <p> <em>Pfingstberg</em>: Pfingstberg is paved with a rather unpleasant type of cobblestone but has a strip of small cobblestones on the right side (in the direction of travel) that rides quite well. Towards the B2 it gets a bit bumpier again. Alternatively, you can bypass it—just turn right after the exit of Neuer Garten. You then go over freshly paved small roads to the B2, which is reached significantly further north. There, a wide bike path begins (renewed & widened in 2013).</p> <p> <em>Heerstraße</em>: The bike path is really terrible, but unfortunately many drivers still haven't realized that the speed limit on Heerstraße has not been 80 km/h for many years (currently 30 km/h in some sections!) and drive accordingly. The road is not for the faint of heart.</p>
