About this route

The tour starts in the picturesque Neuhaus/Oste. After the round trip, one should plan a little time for 'looking around'. Free parking is available in the village. The route leads through Kehdingbruch to Bülkau. There, the Hadler Canal is crossed, which is especially popular with sports boaters. In Neuenkirche, there is a noteworthy church with a valuable Baroque organ. From there, it goes to the North Sea spa Otterndorf to the dike. The Elberadweg passes here by the recreational area 'Achtern Diek' into the beautiful Otterndorf, before continuing towards Belum. Before and after Belum, the B73 must be crossed. Those who want to avoid this can alternatively cycle directly on the accompanying cycle path along to Belum. From there, it goes along the dikes back to Neuhaus. It is worth taking a detour to the Ostesperwerk and the Natureum.
