Torrent de Son Vic

A picturesque beginner's route starting from the dreamy village of 'Puigpunyent', climbing up switchbacks just at the edge of town.

Then comes a rapid descent through a refreshing and remote little valley, accompanied by Torrent de Son Vic towards 'Esporles'. Caution here, the road is narrow. Tourists and locals use the full width of the road at full speed.

At the end of the valley, follow the wide road 'downhill to the right' towards Esporles – but only in the highest gear behind cars. Once there, you roll past pleasant street cafés, where you get a sense of the relaxed life of the locals.

Then continue out of town towards Palma. Important: at the fork by the gas station - turn 'right'. There follows a short climb to get the pulse racing. Then it goes lightly downhill again – mostly straight, where 50 km/h on the speedometer will delight you.

The leisure rider, however, lets their gaze wander over the gently rolling landscape and is reminded of Tuscany.

In 'Establiments', at the height of 'Sa' Nostra / bus stop', take the alleys to the right and after 100 meters turn right again. From there, it goes back to Puigpunyent on initially slightly rough road with gentle climbs.

As an 'option', once on the PMV-1041 to Puigpunyent, take the PMV-1016 left towards Calviá and ride via Galilea. This will make the tour about 1 to 2 hours longer.
