About This Route

Nach der Kraxelei über die Alpenpässe bietet sich diese Kurzetappe zur Erholung an. Von Schleis sollte man den kleinen Umweg über Mals in Kauf nehmen. Das idyliische Glurns mit seiner imposanten Stadtmauer liegt direkt am Radweg. Gemächlich rollt man durch endlose blühende Obstbaumplantagen. Wer noch Körner übrig hat, kann noch einen Abstecher zum 400 Höhenmeter über Naturns liegenden Castello " Juval" machen (die Packtaschen kann man an der Tourist-Information deponieren). Reinhold Messner hat hier seine interessante Tibetika-Sammlung platziert. Bis zum quirligen Meran ist es dann nicht mehr weit.
