About This Route

This is a nice route that avoids high-traffic roads except for a stretch of Rt 1A in Newburyport and Rowley. That section of road has some nice scenery and the road is wide and is in good shape.

Center Street and Middle Street through Groveland and West Newbury go up and down and there are stop signs that interrupt momentum. Still, it's a quiet road and much nicer than riding on Rt 113, which is the other main alternative.
