About this route

The route starts in the center of Brakel at the Feuerteich. There should be sufficient parking available here for a vehicle. The path then leads past the historic Brakel town hall and partly through the pedestrian zone into the Märsch (meadow landscape). The route then turns west, and after crossing an old stone bridge, you turn left at the Sudheimerhof fork and ride under the B64 towards Antoinettenburg. The path continuously climbs here, and after a few kilometers near the radar station in the village of Auenhausen, you reach the highest point of the route. From here, there is a beautiful panoramic view in all directions. Via farm roads and small country roads, you then reach the village of Borgholz. The path continues to Dalhausen (bike path on the left side of the road), and at the exit of Dalhausen, you can again ride on a bike path parallel to the Bever river towards Beverungen. From Beverungen, the route follows the Weser cycle path to the confluence of the Nethe into the Weser. Just behind the bridge, turn left towards Godelheim. Then follow the cycle path through the Nethe valley back to Brakel.
