About this route
On this ride to the eastern district of Uelzen, you will meet 'Auguste', the over 200-year-old post mill at the Suhlendorf Handicraft Museum. You can admire the area of the Woltersburg Mill, which has been restored to a gem as part of an unemployment project, and visit a former water mill in Oetzmühle, first documented in 1339. There will also be a visit to one of the most beautiful train stations in the world, an old castle complex, rare birds, and plenty of nature.
