About This Route

Ab Haltern am See beginnen die kontrastreichsten und damit spannendsten Tourabschnitte auf der Römer-Lippe-Route, denn ab hier bildet die Lippe den Grenzfluss zwischen der Industriekultur des Ruhrgebiets und der Parklandschaft des Münsterlandes. Dabei wird keine andere Stadt derart zentral von der Lippe durchströmt, wie Lünen. Zusätzlich begleitet uns der Datteln-Hamm-Kanal die Lippe bis Hamm.
