About this route
Der malerische Lüßwald mit seinen alten Baumbeständen ist einer der seltenen erhaltenen natürlichen Buchenwälder in der Südheide. Ein Teil des waldes ist seit den 70er Jahren als Naturwaldreservat geschützt. Auf dem Wald-Erlebnispfad erfahren Sie, wie hier ohne jeden menschlichen Eingriff ein wahrer Urwald entsteht. Nicht entnommenes Totholz bietet skurile Formen aus und schafft moosüberwachsen wichtigen Lebensraum für Tiere und Pflanzen. Ein Aussichtsturm bietet tolle Blicke über das Blätterdach.
