2015.06.27-29 Савинцы – Змиёв: 3 дня\2 ночи

3 days/2 nights.

Start from the 'Savincy' station. There is one shop at the station, which is not always open. There is a well (cross the tracks and move diagonally to the right), but the water in it is only suitable for technical needs.

Snack by the Donets, behind a large parking area where cars or kayakers usually are. You need to pass by them, veering to the left. Good descent into the water, spacious area.

Before overnighting, collect water near the dacha plots at the entrance to Pervomaisk. After the bridge, turn left.

The first overnight stay is behind a children’s camp. There is no beach, but the descent into the water is good. Large clearing.

To continue the route, you need to return to the wooden bridge and ride along the path. At the fork near the posts, turn left, as it is an island and there will be no passage ahead. The left path goes through fields and reeds, but it is quite passable. The end point is a bridge made of three pipes.

Our route passed by a chalk quarry, which we could not enter – passage closed, nothing special to see.

After crossing a large old bridge, we wanted to go through the forest, but after entering, we realized we wouldn’t find the path and returned to the road.

There are many shops in Andreyevka, so it’s not worth buying everything at the first one you find.

To reach the Liman, we had to travel over sand and hills. On the shore, we found two good camping spots, but they were occupied, and we stopped at a small clearing behind the forester’s house.

The water in the Liman is disgusting and smelly. Even washing in it is unpleasant.

The next day, we passed by the bases. The first two (Volna and Sprint) are still operational.

We decided to have a snack by the Donets and found a good spot.

The electric train unexpectedly arrived on the fourth track!
